QUALIFICATIONS.

  PERFORMING MUSICIAN.

First paid engagement was in  FEB 1971 with own band   THE ORANGE JUICE.
Other professional work has included studio recordings and live sessions for such 
artists as  Rod Argent and Toni Chrisitie.
      I have been recorded on the Pickwick and Hall record labels 'Top of the Pops' series
 as well as session musician for various local bands.

    Over the years I have formed eight of my own working bands   and the last was ‘EASTWICK’ in 1999

Since 1968 I have been professionally contracted as MUSICIAN AND CABRET ARTIST
 at various   HOLIDAY CAMPS, CLUBS, THEATRES, TOWN HALLS , LESUIRE CENTRES   
AND  RESTAURANTS  throughout the UK. 

      
      MUSIC STYLES HAVE BEEN ;   ROCK’N’ROLL (50’S) ,  FOLK,  BLUES,  FUNK,  M.O.R POP,   
R&B (trad)   ROCK,  CLASSICAL  

and just about any other music style.

TUITION WORK.    

    As well as a private tutor I have taught in schools and night classes in  GUILDFORD, 
and  BYFLEET, Surrey;  HODDESDON,   Herts;   NEWTON ABBOTT, Devon; 
DEBEN SCHOOL  and  AMBERFIELD SCHOOL, Suffolk , and currently
 at  The  IPSWICH SCHOOL, HENLEY ROAD,   Suffolk.      
         
    I regiistered the NORVIN GUITAR SCHOOL in 1980 and teach all styles of Guitar 
to beginners and advanced students both for pleasure and for examination by 
THE LONDON TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC,  
and the LONDON COLLEGE OF MUSIC.  

MUSICAL DIRECTOR    

      1989-93 At the SPA PAVILION THEATRE FELIXSTOWE for ;  PETER PAN,    
WIZARD OF OZ,    BYE BYE BIRDIE,  BUGSY MALONE,   SWEEENEY TODD,  
WIND IN THE WILLOWS, and various Show Cases.

INSTRUMENTS PLAYED:

        GUITAR   (ALL STYLES)   BANJO,   MANDOLIN,   HARMONICA,     
PERCUSSION.   (not drum kit)     SOME KEYBOARDS.
